Speaking with, Nwosu said that Osimhen would replicate his goal scoring form against a star-studded Brazilian side in Singapore on Sunday.

I am proud that we have a quality striker in Victor Osimhen who has been banging in the goals for Lille in the French League,” Nwosu told

Playing in his first season, Osimhen has shown his determination to achieve greatness and I am glad he’s in good form to face Brazil in Sunday’s international friendly encounter in Singapore.

No doubt, he will cause all sorts of problems for the Brazilian defenders regardless of their experience. He has what it takes to shoot down the Brazilians and further put himself in the spotlight of the round leather game.

Elsewhere, Nantes boss, Christian Gourcuff, has hailed the presence of Nigeria international, Simon Moses, in his team following the heroics of the former Gent forward at the weekend.

Moses scored the winner at the Stade de la Beaujoire to help Nantes overcome Nice and climb to second on the league table.

It was the Super Eagles forwards second of the season, having already bagged a goal in Nantes 2-1 away win at Amiens earlier in the season and Gourcuff has not stopped singing the praises of the Nigerian since; describing Moses as a complete player.
